Shirol: Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader and Independent candidate from Hatkanangle Lok Sabha constituency, Raju Shetti cast his vote on Tuesday morning. His family voted along with him. Shetty said he had brought the blessings of his mother before exercising his right to vote.
Shetti said the defeat in the last five years was part of a conspiracy. "But I didn't sit back and brag about the loss. We changed some policies. Now that I am facing the election, I am confident of a complete victory.", Shetti said. Meanwhile, the election in the Hatkanangle Lok Sabha constituency is ongoing with 10 other seats in the state in the third stage of the Lok Sabha elections.
