Maharashtra Unlock: Thackeray govt soon to announce unlock plan, check out what will remain open and closed

Maharashtra government had imposed strict restrictions in view of the rising of covid cases in the state. But there were demands from the people to lift the curbs. Therefore, restrictions in Maharashtra will be relaxed in phases from next week. The task force submitted a report to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The task force members will meet the chief minister this week. The report will be discussed and a decision will be taken, sources said. The decision to start local train services in the unlock phase will not be taken immediately. So we will have to wait for some more time for resumption of local train services.

What will the 'opening up' be like?

  • All establishments will be started in phase
  • Preference will be given to those who have completed vaccination
  • Hotels and restaurants will be allowed to continue till 10 pm.
  • All employees in shops need to be vaccinated
  • Decision of local travel for the general public has not yet been made

The state government is preparing to lift the ban with the slogan 'opening up'. What restrictions will be lifted ? How many employees should there be in the office? The task force has submitted a report to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

A meeting of the Chief Minister and members of the Task Force will be held next week. The decision on 'opening up' can be taken at this meeting. In the first phase, shops, hotels, restaurants and offices are planned. Those who have completed the vaccination will also be given priority in the 'opening up'. This is currently under consideration. A final decision on this is pending in the meeting with the Chief Minister. It has been informed that the restrictions in the state will be lifted in a phased manner. However, it is learned that no decision will be taken immediately regarding the local travel that the general public is hoping for.
