A special court has remanded Assistant Inspector of Police Sachin Vaze, who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the case involving an abandoned SUV found near the home of industrialist Mukesh Ambani was on Sunday sent to the agency's custody till March 25.
At the same time, the NIA has launched a probe into the CIA's Mumbai Criminal Investigation Department (CIU) to find the mastermind behind the planting of the explosives. Two officers and two drivers working under Sachin Vaze were interrogated for nine and a half hours. A few more officers are likely to be called in for questioning.

Meanwhile, it is said that important information has now in the hands of the NIA. According to a Marathi news channel, the NIA has identified the drivers of both Scorpio and Innova involved in the conspiracy. The NIA will soon arrest and interrogate the two drivers.
On the other hand, sources said that Sachin Vaze has named a senior Mumbai police officer during the NIA probe. So it is being said that more shocking information in this case is likely to come to light.
