Nagpur: Young Man Dies By Suicide After Video Calling Girlfriend, Hangs Self Using Scarf

A tragic incident reported in Nagpur where a young man committed suicide by hanging himself after making a video call to his girlfriend. This incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Lakadganj Police Station. The deceased has been identified as Ayush Amar Waman resident of Sweeper Colony.

The deceased a housekeeper at the Nagpur Railway Station, Ayush was in a troubled romantic relationship. Suffering from mental stress due to recent conflicts, he video called his girlfriend on Monday morning and, in front of her, fashioned a noose from a scarf. Announcing his intention to hang himself, he ignored her pleas and committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan.

Prior to committing suicide, he had deleted his chat history from his mobile phone. The police have registered a case of accidental death and have sent his phone for forensic analysis. As he did not leave behind a suicide note, the exact motive behind his suicide remains unclear. The police are currently attempting to ascertain the reason by speaking with his close associates.
