Prakash Ambedkar, the founding president of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, has this morning instructed activists, leaders and office bearers through Facebook Live and video. For some personal reason, I am moving away from social, political events. I will not be working on the program for the next 3 months. However, we have started a movement. Therefore, our next program, the party's goals, and strategies will continue, he explained.

Rekha Thakur has been appointed as the in-charge president of the Vanchit Bahujan Alliance after Prakash Ambedkar withdrew from the program for some time. Therefore, Ambedkar has appealed to all activists in Maharashtra to cooperate with Rekha Thakur. He also said that local body elections would be held in 5 districts in the near future and all party workers should work towards victory.

Dr. Arun Sawant said in his video that the Maharashtra Committee, District Committee and all the workers should cooperate with Rekha Thakur for the successful running and victory of the party. Ambedkar shared this video on Twitter. He said he would stay away from the presidency for the next 3 months only for a public event for his personal reasons.
