Riteish Deshmukh and actress Genelia Deshmukh will be the new faces of the Transport Corporation, known as the 'Lalpari' of Maharashtra. The star couple have been selected as the brand ambassadors of the ST Corporation. This decision has been taken with the aim of attracting passengers to use public transport and making the image of ST more modern and attractive.
According to reports, Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik will sign an official agreement with Ritesh and Genelia in the next two days. The agreement will be for a period of five years, during which both will be seen participating in various advertisements, promotional campaigns and social activities of ST. It is said that this is an attempt to reach ST services more effectively to passengers in rural and urban areas.
ST Corporation has appointed Ritesh and Genelia as brand ambassadors, following in the footsteps of Makarand Anaspure and the late Vikram Gokhale, who previously shaped the brand's identity. Leveraging Ritesh and Genelia's popularity, ST Corporation aims to connect with a new generation. This decision has generated social media buzz and fan curiosity. The couple will soon participate in various programs and campaigns to promote 'Laal Pari'.
Meanwhile, Ritesh and Genelia Deshmukh's younger son, Rahyl, is set to debut in the film industry with 'Raja Shivaji'. The film, directed and produced by Ritesh Deshmukh, stars him as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Genelia as Maharani Saibai, making it a family affair with Rahyl's entry.
