In a shocking incident, coronavirus RT-PCR testing swab sticks are being made in the Khemani slum area of Ulhasnagar. 

NMC Additional Commissioner Karuna Juikar has inspected the area along with the police and suggested the Food and Drug Administration to take action. Ulhasnagar is famous for making fake consumer goods.

It was revealed that RT-PCR testing swab skits were being packed by people who were not wearing any safety gear amid the covid pandemic in  slum houses in Khemani Dnyaneshwar Nagar in Camp No. 3 area.

These RT-PCR testing swab skit will compromise patient's covid test result. Meanwhile, after the video went viral on social media, NMC Additional Commissioner Karuna Juikar took note of the incident and inspected the area with the police on Wednesday afternoon. She also commented that the RT-PCR corona testing swab skit being made here is not being used in Ulhasnagar area.

How was packing of corona RT-PCR swab testing kits in slum areas allowed without any protection? such questions are being raised. How come the local municipal administration and the police department, including the food, drug and administration department, are not aware of this?
