Sharan Gopinath Kamble, a son of Tadwale village in Barshi taluka, has passed the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2019 held by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION on 18th August, 2019. 

A total of 264 candidates have been selected by UPSC in order of merit for appointment to the posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Kambale has secured eighth position across the country. Sharan son of a farmer after learning about the results was ecstatic. His father Gopinath and mother Sudamati. had tears of joy in their eyes after knowing about their son's achievement. 

Sharan completed his primary and secondary education at his hometown from Yashwantrao Chavan School, Tadwale. After that, he did his B.Tech in 2016 at Vidya Mandir Vairag and Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. Further he completed his Master of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2018. After completing his M.Tech education, a private company had offered a package of Rs 20 lakh but Sharan turned it down and was focusing on his preparations for UPSC exams.His dream was to become a government officer through UPSC exams. And Sharan made his dream come true in first attempt.
