Solapur: Speeding car crashed into tree on Solapur-Pune highway in the early hours of Sunday morning. In this accident, five pilgrims were killed, deceased were residents of Panvel and were on their way to Akkalakot to visit the temple of Swami Samarth Maharaj.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officers and personnel from the Mohol police station immediately arrived at the scene, provided assistance, and initiated the necessary procedures. Police stated that the accident was extremely severe, and the bodies were found completely trapped inside the car.

The accident occurred near the Devdi Phata area, close to Mohol village on the Solapur-Pune highway. The driver of the car, lost control, causing the vehicle to collide with a tree. There were six people in the car, three men and three women. The injured are receiving treatment at a government hospital in Mohol, and the police are working to identify the deceased.
