Tisgaon Crash: Speeding Car Rams Loading Vehicle In Waluj, Two Seriously Injured

Two men sustained critical injuries after a high-speed car crashed into a loading vehicle travelling from the opposite direction in Aurangabad’s Waluj industrial belt on Thursday afternoon. The accident took place near Tisgaon and caused major damage to both vehicles, leading to temporary traffic congestion in the area. Residents living nearby immediately rushed to the scene after hearing a loud impact and helped rescue the injured victims. Due to the intensity of the collision, both vehicles were badly mangled, creating panic among motorists and passersby at the busy junction before emergency assistance and police teams arrived at the location to manage the situation.

According to preliminary information, the loading vehicle bearing registration number MH20 DE 6321 was heading from Tisgaon towards Wadgaon when a speeding car numbered MH20 GV 7565 approached from the opposite direction and rammed into it. The collision was reportedly so forceful that both vehicles suffered extensive structural damage within seconds. Eyewitnesses said a loud crashing noise echoed across the area, prompting local residents and shopkeepers to rush outside and assist those trapped inside the damaged vehicles. The accident created chaos on the road as commuters gathered around the spot and traffic movement slowed significantly following the crash.

The injured were identified as loading vehicle driver Babasaheb Thombre and car driver Subhash Parkhe. Both men suffered serious injuries in the accident and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital by local residents before medical teams could arrive. Traffic at Tisgaon Chowk remained affected for some time as damaged vehicles blocked part of the road and commuters struggled to pass through the area. Officials from the Waluj MIDC police station later reached the accident site, supervised the removal of the damaged vehicles, and worked to restore normal traffic flow. Further investigation into the exact cause of the accident is currently underway.
