BJP Palghar MP Hemant Savara received minor injuries and his driver suffered a hand fracture after a dumper struck his vehicle in Naigaon on Friday morning, May 1. According to the information, the accident occurred at around 7 am when the leader was travelling from Thane to Palghar to attend a Maharashtra Day-related event.
The incident took place after crossing the Versova creek bridge (Mira-Bhayander creek bridge). Savara said that the dumper driver could not stop our car and rammed into us.

The BJP MP received minor injuries in the accident, while his driver's hand suffered a fracture and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. He said that their car was travelling on the wrong side of the Mumbai-bound lane due to heavy traffic jams on the Gujarat-bound carriageway.
