Malad: Private Bus Catches Fire on Western Express Highway Due to Suspected Short Circuit (Watch Video)

Mumbai: A private bus catches fire on the Western Express Highway in Malad. Intense flames and smoke surrounded the area and reached the merto line running overhead. This Incident occurred at  9:30 AM, while tourist bus was traveling from  Mumbai to Ujjain.

According to reports, fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit. Fortunately passengers managed to get out of the bus in time and no one was injured.

A 73-year-old woman was killed on Saturday morning, January 17 after a fire broke out in a residential building in the Lokhandwala area of Andheri West, Mumbai. The blaze erupted at the Breeze Housing Society, a ground-plus-seven-storey structure, leading to a swift response from emergency services.

The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) received an emergency call at around 11:15 AM reporting a fire on the upper floors of the building. Firefighting teams and multiple fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene.
