Mumbai: 3 Killed After Speeding Bike Hits Elderly Man Crossing Road in Marine Drive

Three people, including an elderly man, were killed in a road accident that took place in Marine Drive, Mumbai, in the early hours of Monday, April 27. According to the police that accident occurred when a speeding motorcycle struck a senior citizen crossing the road.

The ill-fated bike had a man and a woman die on the spot. The accident occurred at around 5.45 am and the vehicles involved were badly damaged due to the impact, said Marine Drive Police.

Police have conducted a panchnama at the spot and are examining CCTV footage from the area. An accident case has been registered at the Marine Drive police station, and further investigation is underway. According to preliminary information, an elderly man who had come for a morning walk in the Marine Drive area.

 The impact was so severe that parts of both motorcycles, including the wheels, silencers and chassis, were dislodged.
