Mumbai: 40-Year-Old Domestic Helper Found Murdered in Mira Road Housing Complex

In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old woman working as a domestic helper was brutally murdered in the Mira Road area, sending shockwaves through the local community. The Mira Road Police have launched an investigation and are currently searching for the accused. The deceased has been identified as Suman (40). She worked as a domestic worker in several homes within the Chandresh Accord residential complex.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on Tuesday while she was working in a flat in Building No. 27 of the complex. An unidentified person allegedly entered the house and attacked her with a sharp weapon. She sustained multiple stab wounds — two to the stomach, one to the chest, and one to the neck.

Suman was critically injured in the attack and was immediately rushed to Gurukrupa Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared her dead before treatment could begin. Upon receiving information about the incident, police officials from the Mira Road Police Station rushed to the spot. A forensic team also conducted a panchnama and collected evidence from the scene. Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to determine the circumstances behind the crime. The incident has created an atmosphere of fear among residents in the area.
