Kamaal R Khan, self-proclaimed film critic and actor is again in news after firing four rounds of bullets at a residential building in Oshiwara, Andheri. This incident ocurred on January 18, 2026.  According to reports, he has been arrested by Mumbai police on Friday for questioning.

Kamaal who is known for his controversial statements told Mumbai police that he was cleaning his gun and fired shots to check “functionality." Reportedly, the child became frightened and hid behind her parents when the bus driver was called to the principal's office.

After being questioned by Mumbai Police, the actor admitted the firing was done with his licensed gun and was detained. During questioning, the actor told police he was cleaning his gun and fired it into the mangrove forest in front of his house to test it. He believed the bullet would be lost in the forest, but due to the wind, it travelled further and struck a building in Oshiwara.
