Mumbai Bus Fire News: A major fire broke out in an air-conditioned luxury bus parked near a petrol pump on S.V. Road in Dahisar East on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Fire brigade personnel and Dahisar police rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the blaze. Firefighters launched an immediate operation and later brought the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is underway.
In a separate incident the same day, a fire broke out in the Tarapur MIDC area of Boisar in Palghar district around 9 a.m. Workers evacuated the premises immediately after the fire was detected. Two fire brigade vehicles were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control.
According to preliminary information, no workers were trapped inside the unit and no casualties have been reported.
