Mumbai Crime Branch Links Ranveer Threat Case to Bishnoi Gang Operative Harry Boxer

A major revelation has emerged in connection with the threat issued to Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh by the Bishnoi gang along with a demand for money. According to sources, the Mumbai Crime Branch investigation has found that Harry Boxer, considered one of the key operatives of the Bishnoi gang, allegedly sent a threatening voice note to the actor demanding ₹1 crore as extortion.

Sources said that during the preliminary probe, the Crime Branch confirmed that the voice in the WhatsApp voice note matches that of Harry Boxer. However, officials are still in the process of collecting additional evidence to further strengthen the case.

As per Crime Branch sources, the threat was sent to Ranveer Singh through a voice note on his manager’s mobile number shortly after the firing incident at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence. The message allegedly contained threats and a demand for money. Following the threat, security around the actor has been enhanced.

The Crime Branch recorded the statement of Ranveer Singh’s manager three days ago and has intensified the investigation. Sources further revealed that a VPN network was used to send the threatening message, and the location traced so far points to a foreign country. The agency is seeking assistance from Interpol to trace the origin of the VPN network and determine from which country it was operated at the time the threat was sent.

Apart from Ranveer Singh’s case, the Crime Branch on Wednesday night also recorded the statement of the manager of actor Aayush Sharma, brother-in-law of Salman Khan. Both cases are currently under investigation, and formal FIRs are likely to be registered soon.
