Mumbai Local Train Update: Central Railway services in Mumbai were disrupted during peak evening hours Tuesday after a commuter was killed while crossing railway tracks between Byculla and Chinchpokli stations. Train services on the affected route were delayed by 15 to 20 minutes, impacting commuters traveling toward Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). The disruption came during one of the busiest times of the day, when thousands of office-goers were heading home.

According to reports, the man was struck by a passing train while attempting to cross the tracks. The incident led to delays in local train services on the Central Railway line.

Authorities have consistently warned against trespassing on railway tracks due to serious safety risks. Railway Protection Force personnel regularly patrol key stations and take action against violators.
