A video of a Mumbai Metro train has gone viral, which has sparked concerns about the safety of travellers. In a viral clip, a train running at high speed was seen travelling with its doors open. However, LokmatTimes.com has not confirmed the authenticity of the viral clip.

The shared video clip of 29 seconds shows the train with passengers moving between two stations while its doors remain open. The footage has raised questions from netizens over how the train was allowed to continue operating in that condition.

Metro systems are equipped with automated safety mechanisms designed to prevent trains from departing stations unless all doors are securely closed and locked. The incident has therefore raised concerns about a possible technical malfunction or failure in the system’s safety checks.

Meanwhile, no response from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), which has developed and operates Mumbai Metros, regarding the incident.
