Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis flagged off 633 new four-wheelers and 657 motorbikes for the Mumbai Police at Nariman Point on Thursday, February 26. Along with CM, Joint Guardian Ministers Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Police Commissioner Deven Bharti, Yogesh Kadam, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
These vehicles are equipped with the latest features to enhance the safety and security of citizens, as well as provide faster response. The launch is a part of the government's commitment to strengthening on-ground readiness and public safety in the city.
Mumbai Police on its official Instagram handle shared visuals and images of new vehicles with the caption, "Hon. @cmomaharashtra_ Shri Devendra Fadnavis flagged off 633 four-wheelers and 657 motorcycles at Nariman Point, strengthening Mumbai Police’s people-centric response and on-ground readiness."

"On this occasion, Hon. Joint Guardian Minister of Mumbai City Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha @mp.lodha , Hon. Minister of State for Home Yogesh Ramdas Kadam @iyogeshrkadam, Commissioner Of Mumbai Police Shri Deven Bharti @cpmumbaipolice and other dignitaries were present," wrote Mumbai Police.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, CM Devendra Fadnavis virtually inaugurated the Tardeo-Nagpada-Mumbai Central flyover in South Mumbai on Thursday morning.
The flyover replaced a 130-year-old British-era bridge connecting key areas, including Tardeo, Nagpada and Mumbai Central railway station, offering commuters a smoother alternative route. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was also present during the virtual inauguration.
