A man has been murdered by having his throat slit at a spa named Soft Touch, located on Dr. E Moses Road in Worli. The deceased has been identified as Gurusidappa Waghmare, 50. The murder took place between 1:30 AM and 2:00 AM on Wednesday. Worli Police and Crime Branch officers are investigating the incident. A police officer stated that the CCTV footage from Soft Touch Spa shows two unidentified individuals leaving the spa after Waghmare's murder, and the police are actively searching for them.

According to information received from Worli Police, Waghmare's birthday was on July 17, and he had come to Worli on Tuesday evening to host a birthday party for a female friend who works at the spa. From the Worli spa, Waghmare, his female friend, and three spa employees went to Aparna Bar in Sion and consumed alcohol. After drinking, they all returned to the spa around 12:30 AM.

A police officer said that at 2:00 AM, the three spa employees opened the shutter and went outside. Shortly after the employees left, two individuals entered the spa and attacked Gurusidappa Waghmare with a sharp weapon, slashing his throat and hand before fleeing.

Waghmare's female friend informed the spa owner about the incident, who then informed the police. The police arrived at the scene and took Waghmare to Nair Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police officials revealed that Waghmare resided in the Ambedkar Nagar area of Vile Parle East. RTI activist Waghmare had celebrated his 50th birthday on July 17. A friend had requested a birthday party from Waghmare.

Before working at Soft Touch Spa in Worli, Waghmare's female friend worked at a spa in Mulund, where she met Waghmare. Their acquaintance developed into a relationship. Waghmare would sometimes visit the spa in Worli to meet his female friend. Waghmare's female friend had been divorced by her husband and earned her living by working at the spa. The police are interrogating the three spa employees and the deceased's girlfriend about the suspects. They are using CCTV footage to identify the culprits.

Gurusidappa Waghmare had cases registered against him at Vile Parle Police Station and Mulund Police Station.
