Mumbai Shocker: Woman Stripped and Physically Tortured by Relatives Over Rs 21 Lakh Loan

Due to an Rs 21-lakh debt dispute, a 43-year-old Kandivli woman was allegedly enticed to a home in Vasai, undressed, viciously beaten, and captured on camera by her brother-in-law and his relatives. In addition to causing her severe injuries, the accused also humiliated and silenced her by sharing a video of the attack, which led to a police inquiry when the victim's husband saw it. Mid Day reported that the victim was stripped, beaten, had her face sliced with a sword, had her hair chopped off with scissors, and had her intimate areas burned by a hot iron. The accused recorded the attack and shared it with friends and family in an effort to further degrade her.

The victim remained silent for four days due to embarrassment and fear. Only when her husband confronted her after receiving the video did the incident become public knowledge. He is experiencing emotional shock. The accused have locked up their Vasai home and fled, despite the fact that a complaint has been filed, reported Mid Day.

The woman, a 43-year-old Kandivli resident, resides with her spouse and six kids. She has accused her brother-in-law, who is the husband of her husband's sister, and his second wife, of planning the attack and seriously hurting her.

This is a zero FIR case that was moved from Charkop to Valiv Police Station, said DCP Zone 2, MBMC, Purnima Chogle Shringi. The accused is evading detention despite the police team's visit to their home. He said that he has instructed his officers not to spare them at any cost.
