Mumbai Tragedy: 25-Year-Old Dombivli Man Dies by Suicide at KEM Hospital; Probe Underway

In a tragic incident, a 25-year-old youth from Dombivli allegedly died by suicide inside the premises of KEM Hospital in Parel on Friday morning around 10 am. The Bhoiwada Police have registered an accidental death report (ADR) and initiated further investigation.

According to police sources, the deceased was a resident of Dombivli East’s Kopar area and had been suffering from a serious illness. He had been undergoing treatment at KEM Hospital for the past one month.

On Friday morning around 9 am, hospital staff noticed that the patient had gone missing from the ward where he was admitted. A search was immediately launched, following which he was found hanging in the hospital premises outside the ward.

Hospital authorities promptly informed the Bhoiwada police, who rushed to the spot and took custody of the body. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.

Police suspect that the youth may have taken the extreme step due to frustration caused by his prolonged illness. Further investigation is underway.
