The emotional video show how the family supports the teenage boy despite scoring average marks. Instagram user Rukhsar Patel shared the video of his son with the caption, “For me, my child’s 55 marks are worth more than 95 or 85. Rather than hurting him by taunting or criticising him, I want to keep him happy so that he never feels inferior to anyone. Many parents have lost their children after saying hurtful things like this.”

The viral video of 0.30 seconds with an old Bollywood song shows someone opening the cake box lid, which reveals a cake with the student's name and score printed on it. It shows how much the student scored in each subject: 57 in English, 44 in Marathi, 56 in Hindi, 59 in maths, and 44 in social sciences. It further shows the student scored 276 out of 500, with a total percentage of 55.20.

Further in the video show the student walking in, cutting the cake, amid cheers and claps from the family.
