BIS Nagpur holds Manak Samvad camp

In the first session Manak Samvad, organised for prospective and new licensees, participants were sensitized about BIS certification requirements. Key topics covered included Conditions of Licence, Design of the ISI Mark, important BIS online links, and an overview of BIS activities and procedures. The session aimed to facilitate better understanding of the certification process and regulatory requirements for obtaining BIS licence.

In the second session the revised standard was presented and discussed in detail. Participants actively shared suggestions and observations based on their practical experience and academic knowledge, and the comments received are being compiled for further necessary action regarding the Indian Standard. Hemant B Ade, Director andn Head, BIS Nagpur Branch Office, was also present during the session.
