Outgoing general secretary Dinesh Sarve, new secretary Suvendro Malik from West Bengal were also present at the press conference.
Ad hoc body to select Maha teams
Dur to the legal tussle between Akhil Maha Cycle Polo Associaiton headed by Gajanan Burde and Maha Cycle Polo Association (Sanjay Tijare) the federation has not given its affiliation to any body in the State. However, for the benefit of the players the federation has decided to appoint three-member ad hoc committee and the said committee will select the players for the nationals.
Pande said actually the election of the federation were scheduled in 2024. But due to the petition filed by Akhil Maha Cycle Polo Associaiton in the Nagpur bench of Mumbai High Court, it was delayed. Finally, on April 6, 2026, the court lifted the stay and asked the federation to announce the body.
