Nagpur, Feb 22

Riding on Irshad Ahmad's fabulous hat-trick Young Boys FC blanked Al Fateh FC 4-0 in the ongoing JSW Senior Division Football Tournament organised by Nagpur District Football Association (NDFA) at its Suyog Nagar playground, here on Monday.

Young Boys had an upper hand over their opponents right from the word go. After missing some attempts, Ahmed drew the first blood in the 32nd minute.

In the second half too Young Boys continued their dominance. On the other hand al Fateh players looked tired. In the 55th minute, Mohammad Jameel equalised the score thru excellent goal. But that was the last laugh as in the 62nd minute Irshad scored his second goal. Eight minutes later he once again found the net to complete the hat-trick. Salim Patel struck for Young Boys in the 89th minute to seal the fate of opponents. Irshad Ahmed who scored hat-trick was cautioned by match referee for his rough play in the 80th minute. Al Fateh's Mohammad Jameel was also shown yellow card in the 55th minute.

In another high scoring match Gouhar FC thrashed Maverick FC 4-1. In the very fourth minute Sahil Yadav surprised Gouhar FC by scoring an early goal. After facing goal, Gouhar forwards too geared up. In the 28th minute, Abdul Gafoor equalised the score and then they never looked back. In the 32nd minute Azam Khan gave 2-1 lead to Gouhar FC.

After a change of ends, Furquan Ansari (51st min) and Shahbaz Khan (79th min) scored one goal each to ensure the big win.

During the proceedings, Gouhar were reduced to ten in the 24th minute when Altamash Ansari was shown second yellow card.
