kabaddi tourney held on World Forest Day

More than 70 teams from Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and various districts of Maharashtra participated in this large-scale Kabaddi tournament, receiving an excellent response at both state and interstate levels.

On the occasion of International Day of Forests, a grand awareness rally was organised in the buffer villages of Pench Tiger Reserve in the morning. Forest Department staff, school children, and villagers participated enthusiastically in the rally, spreading awareness about forest conservation and harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife.

The programme was graced by Maharashtra minister Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, Deputy Director, Pench Tiger Reserve, Nagpur Akshay Gajbhiye, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Pench Tiger Reserve, Nagpur Sandip Bharti, Police Patil, Mouza Awaleghat Vandana Bhurre, Member, Gram Panchayat Awaleghat Kailas Dupare, President of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Jan-Van Vikas Committee, Awaleghat Aniket Maind, Pravin Lele, Nitin Jadhav, Abhijit Mane and others.

The programme was effectively anchored by Abhishek Maind while the introductory address was delivered by Akshay Gajbhiye.

A large number of villagers, Kabaddi players, school children, and Forest Department staff attended the program and actively participated, making the event a grand success. Members of the committee and Forest Department personnel made special efforts to ensure the successful organisation of the event.
