Nagpur, Amravati, Nashik and CSN reach semifinals
The tournament is being held at the D.Y. Patil International School ground in MIHAN. In Group A, Nashik finished on top by winning both their matches, while Nagpur secured second place with one win and one loss. In Group B, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar claimed first place with two victories, and Amravati finished second with one win and one loss.
On Friday, the first semifinal between Nashik vs Amravati will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the second semifinal between Nagpur vs Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 12 noon. Both matches will be of 15 overs per side.
In Thursday’s first league match, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar defeated Amravati by one run. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar scored 89 for 1 in 10 overs, then restricted Amravati to 88 for 6 in 10 overs. Aarav Pandey, who took 3 wickets for 15 runs and scored 20 runs off 17 balls with two fours, was named Man of the Match.
In another match, Nashik beat Jalgaon by 22 runs. Nashik posted 89 for 9, while Jalgaon were held to 67 for 4. Rajveer Chavan, who scored 26 runs off 16 balls with three fours and one six, and also took one wicket, was adjudged Man of the Match.
In the third match, Amravati defeated Pune by 5 wickets. After restricting Pune to 61 for 6, Amravati chased the target by scoring 62 for 5 in 7.5 overs. Arth Dharmale, who took 2 wickets for 6 runs, was declared Man of the Match.
The tournament is being supported by Kusumtai Bodad Lokseva Pratishthan director Shashikant Bodad, Central Provincial School, Shri Rajendra High School and Junior College, Hillfort Public School, Rahate’s IIT and Medical, Mohite Trophy House, D.Y. Patil Sports Academy, and MIHAN.
