Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sushma Andhare has raised concerns over the handling of the Sanket Bawankule Audi car accident case in Nagpur, Maharashtra, calling it a hit-and-run incident. She pointed out that despite having complete details about Sanket Bawankule, the investigation had significant loopholes. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, meanwhile, has called for a fair investigation. However, Andhare questioned why Jitendra Sonkamble, who initially registered the FIR, is now claiming to have withdrawn it. She alleged that pressure is being exerted on the investigation by BJP leaders Devendra Fadnavis and Chandrashekhar Bawankule.

" If you are speaking of a fair investigation, then why is Jitendra Sonkamble, who registered the FIR, making statements that he withdrew the FIR?. It means that attempts are being made to create pressure and this is being done by Devendra Fadnavis and Chandrashekhar Bawankule on behalf of BJP," she further stated.
