Roshankhede installed as president, Das secy

Nagpur, July 8

Dr Sharda Roshankhede was installed as president whereas Dr Jaydeep Das as a secretary during an installation ceremony of Rotary Club of Nagpur Green City for the year 2021-2022.

The other board members are a mix of youth and experience all dynamic people in the field of social service. The installation ceremony was held on 06th July 2021 (Tuesday) through a mixed platform of virtual presence online and physical attendance. The installation ceremony was presided by district governor Ramesh Meher and assistant district governor Manjusha Chaknalwar. Many innovative projects in the field of academics, medical, social and environment are planned by the team already. A plantation drive of nearly 500 trees is already underway at various locations.The team, apart from doing various social service projects have decided to ensure paperless work trying to reduce the carbon footprint in projects and ensuring the young generation is handed over a safe and healthy planet to inherit. Apropos to the name of the club the activities will definitely go a long way in fulfilling the current theme of Rotary international i.e. Serve to Change Lives.

The Silver Jubilee was celebrated as it completed 25 years. The News Bulletin was created for that purpose.

New members were inducted including ZP education officer Chintaman Wanjari, Mohit Roshankhede, Surekha Nimbalkar, Prabhu Kullurkar, Vaishali Chandel, Rajesh Makhe, Atul Jichkar, Ashok Chandak, Varsha Panbude, Rajesh Nikhare, Rupesh Semare, Ulhas Athale, Manisha Chaudhari, Chaitra Salankar. Padma Dethe, Dr. Chandrashekharan Cham, Akshay Bhatkulkar, Dinesh Dangra,, Pravin Meshram, Ravi Mishra, Vithhal Mangle, Lekhram Patel, Ketaki Salankar. Dr. Sanjay Wankar , Sudhir Ghike, Rajesh Vyawahare, Jyotsna Patil, Banty Kohale, Swati Dharmadhikari, Dr. Prashant Nikhade, Dr. Sanjay Ambatkar, Arun Chaudhari, Vivek Deshpande, Raju Govardhan, Nandini Sahastrabudhe, Vilas Deshmukh, Raju Panbude and Yogesh Metangale.
