A bus accident took place on the Mumbai-Agra Highway near Umarane village in Nashik after an ST bus travelling from Nashik to Malegaon overturned on Wednesday morning, May 13.

According to preliminary information, the driver allegedly suffered a heart attack and lost control of the vehicle, causing the bus to overturn and crash into a tree.

Fortunately, no fatalities were reported in the incident. However, four passengers sustained minor injuries and were admitted to the government hospital in Malegaon for first treatment.

Meanwhile, the driver has been admitted to a private hospital and is currently undergoing treatment. The impact of the accident severely damaged the bus and uprooted a large tree.
