20 cabinet ministers and eight state ministers took oath as ministers under Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today in the presence of Governor Anandiben Patel. Patel, who is Uttar Pradesh governor, has been given additional charge as Madhya Pradesh governor in view of incumbent Lalji Tandon's hospitalisation. Patel took oath as MP Governor earlier in the day.  It must be noted that when Jyotiraditya Scindia switched party, 8 ministers had also left the Kamalnath government. Of these, two have already been appointed as  ministers in Shivraj government.
