New Delhi, April 13 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday issued a detailed public message titled ‘Yogi Ki Pati’ (Yogi's note/letter), a day ahead of B.R. Ambedkar's birth anniversary, urging citizens to adopt the ideals of the Constitution’s chief architect and promote education in everyday life.
In a post on X, CM Yogi wrote, “April 14 marks the sacred birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Ji… through whose vision millions of people gained the right to a life of dignity.”
He added that “by embracing Babasaheb's ideals, our government is ensuring that the benefits of schemes reach every poor, deprived woman, and youth”.
Expanding on this in his longer note, the Chief Minister described the occasion as “an opportunity to express our gratitude to that great personality who drafted the framework of India's Constitution.”
The CM emphasised Ambedkar’s intellectual depth, writing that “every word of Babasaheb is inspirational”, particularly highlighting his vision in the fields of economy and education.
Quoting Ambedkar’s enduring message, he wrote, “Educate, organise and struggle”, and noted that Babasaheb was “among the most educated people of his time”, who maintained a collection of over 35,000 books and studied for “16 to 18 hours a day”.

In a personal appeal, CM Yogi urged citizens, “Keep good books in your homes, read them yourselves, and inspire your children to do the same”, stressing that “only then will Babasaheb’s dream be realised”.
He concluded that “only by adopting Babasaheb’s thoughts will the resolve to build a harmonious, empowered and prosperous state be fulfilled”, calling on people to carry forward the legacy of social justice and equality.
The message comes as the country prepares to observe Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14 (Tuesday) with tributes and public programmes celebrating his enduring contributions to Indian society and governance.
