A tragic incident unfolded in the Kotwali Sikandrabad area of Bulandshahr on Wednesday night, where a petrol pump manager was shot dead following a dispute over fuel distribution. The situation escalated when they asked for additional petrol to be filled in an empty bottle—a request that Sharma declined, citing regulations that prohibit dispensing fuel in unauthorized containers. This refusal sparked a heated argument. In a shocking turn of events, the two men pulled out a firearm and opened fire on Sharma, fatally injuring him before fleeing the scene. The local police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects. CCTV footage from the petrol pump and surrounding areas is being reviewed to identify the culprits. "Efforts are on to trace the accused. We are committed to ensuring justice for the victim," said SSP Shlok Kumar. Sharma’s body has been sent for post-mortem, and a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
