In a shocking incident, a covid positive person distributed prasad to hundreds of people in a gurdwara in Sangrur in Punjab. It also includes two big men.

Punjab Education Minister Vijay Singh and former Sangrur MLA Prakash Chand Garg were also present at the Gurdwara. They also accepted prasad from the covid positive person in the gurdwara.

Meanwhile, the concern of the health department has increased after the news came to light. The education minister, who received prasad from a corona-infected person, said he was asked to organize a covid testing camp in the village to prevent corona infection.

According to the health department, the corona report of the person present in the gurdwara was positive. The sample he gave for the test on May 31 came back positive. Even after that, he had distributed prasad in the gurdwara.

A large number of people were present at the Gurdwara when the person who tested positive for corona distributed prasad. He was also present after the death of Karamjit Singh, a farmer who was protesting in Delhi. The granthis had distributed prasad in the gurdwara on June 1. Meanwhile, his wife has also tested covid-19 positive.

After this incident, the corona report of 30 people in the village has come positive. It is not known how many people were present at the gurdwara that day. In Punjab, 60 per cent of the total corona patients are found in rural areas. Also, the mortality rate here is almost three times higher in urban areas.
