Nine schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday, sparking widespread panic among students, parents, and school authorities. The alarming messages prompted an immediate security response, with local police teams, K9 units, and bomb disposal squads quickly dispatched to the affected institutions as a precaution. The threatening email included a provocative statement, claiming that “Delhi will become Khalistan.” Schools were evacuated without delay, and thorough anti-sabotage checks were conducted to ensure the safety of everyone on campus. Officials confirmed that no suspicious items were discovered during the inspections. Authorities have launched investigations to track the origin of the emails and identify the perpetrators.

The Times of India reported that the email was sent at approximately 7:22 am, warning of an explosion around 1:11 pm on Monday. The message also alleged that Parliament could be targeted at 1:11 pm on February 13, the TOI report added. Authorities noted that this follows similar incidents last month, when multiple Delhi schools received bomb threats, causing mass panic and heightened security measures across the capital. Police continue to probe the messages while maintaining strict vigilance across the city’s educational institutions.

Nine schools across the city received the bomb threats, which include:

  1. Loreto Convent in Delhi Cantonment,
  2. Venkateshwar Global School in Rohini,
  3. Cambridge School’s Srinivaspuri and New Friends Colony campuses,
  4. The Indian School in Sadiq Nagar,
  5. CM Shri School in Rohini,
  6. DTEA School in INA,
  7. Bal Bharti School in Rohini,
  8. Manav Sthali School in New Rajinder Nagar.
