Sunita, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has been granted permission by the Tihar jail administration to meet him. According to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), she is scheduled to visit him later today.

Sunita Kejriwal will be meeting the chief minister at 12.30 pm. She will be accompanied by Delhi cabinet minister Atishi during the meeting, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said.

The AAP stated on Sunday that jail authorities had denied permission for Sunita to meet the chief minister, a claim countered by prison officials. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to meet Kejriwal on Tuesday.

Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 in connection with a money laundering probe relating to alleged irregularities in the now-cancelled Delhi excise policy 2021-22.
