Delhi: A shocking incident of crime has came to light where a female teacher from a private school in west Delhi's Janakpuri area has been arrested in connection with sexual assault case of three-year-old. Following the arrest teacher will be produced before a court later in the day. This shocking incident came to light on May 1 after woman lodged a complaint at the Janakpuri Police Station.

Victims parents alleged that daughter was assault during school hour on April 30, the next day after her admission. A mother alleges her daughter was sexually assaulted by a caretaker during school hours on April 30, two days after the girl enrolled. The child complained of pain upon returning home and reportedly told her mother she was taken to an isolated area within the school where the assault occurred. Police have registered a case under Section 64 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Despite prosecution opposition, a city court granted the caretaker bail on May 7, prompting police to announce they will appeal the decision in high court. The victim's mother previously alleged a teacher's involvement and claimed the family faced significant delays at the police station.

Police denied the allegations, asserting the investigation was fair and professional. They confirmed the seizure of CCTV footage, DVRs, and other evidence.
