A 51-year-old man has been arrested in Rohini area of Delhi for allegedly firing outside the office of BJP MP Hansraj Hans on Monday evening. According to the police, Rameshwar Pehalwan fired two bullets at Hans' office who's been a wrestling coach in a college of Delhi University for the last 23 years.According to a senior police officer, CCTV footage of the incident showed a man wearing saffron kurta and white pajamas firing bullets outside the MP's office. According to the official, the wrestler resident of Bawana was in a state of intoxication. He created a scene and abused him before firing bullets.There was no one in the office at that time. According to eyewitnesses, the accused came in the car and escaped after firing in the air. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) SD Mishra said that the accused has been arrested. The reason behind the incident seems to be personal vengeance.Further investigation is underway. Hans called the incident a "cowardly act" and demanded a thorough investigation. Referring to him, the Delhi BJP said in a statement, "I have no enmity with anyone, but I am constantly exposing the anti-people policies of the ruling party in Delhi." So it is possible that someone is angry with me and has executed the incident". The ruling Aam Aadmi Party has not responded on the incident yet.
