Residents across several parts of Delhi are set to experience scheduled power cuts on April 24 as electricity distribution companies undertake maintenance work and network upgrades. The outages, announced by Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited and BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, will impact multiple areas across North, North-West, West, and South Delhi at different intervals during the day.
In areas under TPDDL, parts of North-West Delhi will witness outages in two phases — first between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, and then from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Localities including F Block, Sector 1 and nearby pockets are expected to be affected. In North Delhi, power supply will be disrupted between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM in sections of F Block, while Siraspur will face a longer outage window from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Industrial and residential pockets in Bawana will also see multiple shutdowns, with electricity supply affected from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and again from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM across parts of F Block Sector 1 and Sector 2. In Mangolpuri, outages are scheduled between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, particularly around Mubarakpur Road and adjoining areas. Meanwhile, in Badli, parts of Duliya Colony and nearby industrial zones may face disruptions from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Outer Delhi regions are also on the list, with Narela witnessing extended outages. Areas such as Nangli and nearby localities will see power cuts between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, while Nathu Colony and surrounding pockets may experience disruptions from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
In South and West Delhi, areas served by BRPL will primarily face outages during the late morning and afternoon hours. In Dwarka Sector 8, electricity supply will be affected between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. Nehru Enclave in Kalkaji is expected to see outages from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, while Jia Sarai in Hauz Khas will face a brief disruption from around 11:04 AM to 12:04 PM. Residents in Tigri Colony in Sangam Vihar may experience power cuts between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
Several parts of West Delhi will also be impacted, including Uttam Nagar and Milap Nagar from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Paschim Vihar’s State Bank Colony is likely to face outages between 10:04 AM and 12:04 PM, while Vikaspuri areas will see disruptions from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In the Najafgarh region, Sai Baba Enclave and Masudabad are scheduled for outages between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Additionally, a brief power cut is expected in Bhati Kalan in Chhatarpur between 11:00 AM and 11:24 AM.
Residents are advised to plan their day accordingly and take necessary precautions, as these temporary outages are part of routine maintenance aimed at improving power reliability and infrastructure across the city.
