India National Cricket Team vs Namibia National Cricket Team Match: Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 match between India and Namibia at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Special traffic arrangements, diversions, and parking restrictions will be in place from 5 p.m. to midnight, and heavy vehicles will be barred from the area. Commuters are advised to avoid the vicinity during match hours and use alternate routes.

Diversions and Restrictions

  • JLN Marg from Rajghat to Delhi Gate up to the roundabout at Kamla Market (both carriageways).

  • Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate.

  • Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg from Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk (both carriageways).

No vehicles will be allowed to park on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg and Ring Road from Rajghat to I.P. Flyover on both carriageways. Vehicles parked in violation will be towed away and action will be taken as per law.

Entry gates

Entry to the stadium will be allowed through designated routes:

  •  Gate Nos. 1 to 8 are located on the Southern side of the Stadium & entry to these gates shall be entertained from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.
  • Gate Nos. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15 are located on the Eastern side of the Stadium on the road and entry to these gates shall be entertained from J.L.N. Marg next to Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal.
  • Gates Nos. 16, 17 & 18 are located on the Western side of the stadium & entry to these gates shall be entertained from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, near Petrol Pump.

Parking arrangements

Free parking will be available at Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road.

There will be no parking for the general public near the stadium, except for limited spaces meant for vehicles with valid parking labels. Displaying the parking label on the windscreen is mandatory. The vehicle number and mobile number of the driver or owner must be written on the label.

Vehicles without a valid parking label will not be allowed near the stadium.

Parking for labelled vehicles will be as follows:

  • P-1: Four-wheelers at JP Park opposite Gate 3.

  • P-2: Four-wheelers at Vikram Nagar parking near Shahidi Park.

  • P-3: Two-wheelers near the JJB/Prayas office.

  • P-4: GLNS School near the JJB-Prayas office.

Entry to these parking areas will be from the Vikram Nagar cut on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg near Shahidi Park only. Vehicles without valid parking label will not be allowed in proximity to the stadium.

App-based taxis

Pick-up and drop points for app-based taxis have been set up at:

  • Gate 2 near Maulana Azad Medical College on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (ITO to Delhi Gate carriageway).

  • Rajghat Chowk.

Police have urged the public to follow traffic rules and cooperate with officials to ensure smooth movement during the match.  Delhi Traffic Police have also advised residents to follow official traffic updates on social media for real-time information.
