Himachal Pradesh: In an tragic road accident, a 17-year-old school going girl lost her life while she was trying to cross the road on the Mandi-Pathankot highway near Ehju. This tragedy occurred on Thursday, May 14 morning and incident caught on camera. The deceased identified as Anu, daughter of Punnu Ram and a resident of Baijnath, died in a road accident near Ehju.
The Government School student was hit by a speeding tempo while crossing the road en route to school from her maternal uncle’s house in Machkehad. Critically injured, she was taken to Baijnath Hospital, where she died during treatment. The accident has shocked the community, prompting calls for stricter traffic enforcement to address speeding on the busy highway.
