Hyderabad Godown Fire: Four People Trapped as Blaze Engulfs Furniture Warehouse Near Nampally Railway Station
At least four people were reportedly trapped inside the building housing a furniture godown near Nampally Railway Station in Hyderabad. The blaze erupted on Saturday, January 24, in the afternoon promoting fire officials and police to rush to the spot.
The godown is located on the ground floor of the multistoried building near a residential area. A video shared by the news agency ANI shows thick smoke engulfing the entire structure, where firefighters are using a vehicle ladder to douse the raging blaze. National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) personnel were called for help and are present at the spot assisting firefighters.

Commissioner of the Hyderabad City Police, VC Sajjanar ,said, "We suspect that three to four people are inside the building. We are trying to rescue them."
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi reacted to the Nampally fire incident, said its deeply concerning to him. He said he is in continues touch with officials on the ground and praying for safety of trapped people.

Earlier, a parents were seen crying for help and said that her son is working in the furniture godown from last 10 to 12 years. "My son Imtiaz has been working here for 10-12 years...", the mother of Imtiaz, who is trapped inside the furniture godown.
