Congress councillor Zakir Hussain arrested in Kargil after a leaked phone conversation of him went viral where he was heard berating the Indian Forces. According to Times Now, Zakir Hussain was heard saying China is going to split Ladakh into pieces. Hussain, a Congress councillor, also made a shocking claim saying that 222 Indian Army personnel had died adding that the Chinese side did not suffer any casualties.

Distancing itself from the comment made by its legislator, Congress has called it “private talk”.According to the news, Zakir Hussain during his private conversation with his friend berated the Indian Army and lauding the Chinese forces said that Modi kept shouting surgical strikes China “captured” the Indian territory. Hussain has been arrested for spreading fake information. BJP lashed out at Congress over the comment made by its councilor Zakir Hussain
