Jaipur turns saffron as BJP chief Nitin Nabin gets grand welcome
Jaipur, April 27 BJP National President Nitin Nabin received a grand welcome upon his arrival in Jaipur on Monday. The reception, organised under the leadership of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, saw thousands of party office-bearers and workers lining the route from the airport to the BJP state headquarters.
Supporters welcomed Nitin Nabin with red carpets, musical performances, floral showers and chants.
A massive roadshow marked the occasion, with BJP Yuva Morcha workers participating in large numbers, riding two-wheelers and wearing traditional saffron turbans (safas).
The entire route was marked by high energy and enthusiasm. Workers and office-bearers from various BJP wings, including Mahila Morcha, SC/ST Morcha and Minority Morcha, gathered at multiple points to extend a warm welcome.
Addressing a felicitation ceremony, Nitin Nabin said that Rajasthan is progressing steadily under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
Referring to Rajasthan as the land of former Vice President and Chief Minister the late Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, he said that the people of the state are committed to advancing both organisation and development with dedication.
He credited party workers for strengthening the BJP and expressed confidence that the party is set to achieve a historic victory in West Bengal, with the saffron flag expected to be hoisted on May 4 during vote counting.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, in his address, said that under the leadership of PM Modi and BJP National President Nitin Nabin, party workers are working with full dedication to strengthen Rajasthan in line with the party's principles.
He said that workers are not only expanding the organisation but also ensuring that government welfare schemes reach every section of society. Highlighting the impact of the “double-engine government”, he said that a “saffron wave” is visible from the Panchayat level to Parliament, and the benefits of governance are reaching the masses.
BJP state president Madan Rathore said that party workers, belonging to the world’s largest political organisation, are always ready to dedicate themselves fully at the call of the National President.
He added that the long-standing perception of alternating power between the BJP and Congress every five years in Rajasthan would be broken this time.
Several ministers, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, organisational office-bearers and a large number of party workers were present on the occasion.
