Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, stated on Wednesday that the INDIA alliance will exert full pressure in Parliament and even hit the roads if the BJP-led government does not restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir following the ongoing assembly elections.

Speaking at a public rally in support of party candidates, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi criticized the division of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories in 2019, calling it a grave injustice to the people of the region.
