Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh (February 14, 2025): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took a holy dip and offered prayers at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Friday during the Maha Kumbh. He was accompanied by his wife, Amruta Fadnavis, and their daughter, Divija. News agencies shared a video of the chief minister and his family performing the sacred rituals.

Speaking about the experience, Fadnavis expressed gratitude for being part of the historic event. ""I am extremely fortunate that I was able to visit the Maha Kumbh along with my family. This Maha Kumbh is being held after 144 years, and I am glad that I was able to do the 'snan' at Sangam on this occasion," CM said after taking holy dip at Arail Ghat in Prayagraj.

He also praised the arrangements made by the Uttar Pradesh government. “I would like to congratulate UP CM Yogi Adityanath for organising this wonderful event. Everyone who has come here is extremely happy with the arrangements,” Fadnavis added.
Mahakumbh 2025, which commenced on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), is the world's largest spiritual and cultural gathering, attracting devotees from across the globe. The grand event will continue till Mahashivratri on February 26.
