Cuttack, Oct 2 Normal functioning of the Orissa High Court will remain suspended till November 20 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, a HC order said on Friday.

However, the High Court will have restricted functioning by virtual mode or videoconference during the period, the HC Registrar General's order added.

The subordinate courts and tribunals will also function with restrictions, as issued by the High Court earlier.

The subordinate courts/tribunals at places where there is no shutdown/lockdown, shall, as far as possible, resume normal functioning during court hours by virtual mode/videoconference.

The order also said that the High Court and its offices, subordinate courts and tribunals will remain closed on working Saturdays in October.
