Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condemned the drone attack that left three Indian nationals injured in UAE's Fujairah. PM Modi said, "Targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable." He said India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister said India promotes a peaceful resolution between the two countries. "India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE and reiterates its support for the peaceful resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy."

"Ensuring safe and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is vital for enduring regional peace, stability and global energy security," he added.

The condemnation from the Prime Minister aligns with the earlier response from the Ministry of External Affairs, which described the incident as “unacceptable" and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities targeting innocent civilians and infrastructure.
